Gripping Primer has a unique, clear texture that some individuals may find "sticky" upon first use. Rest assured, this is normal. For best results and to prevent pilling, we strongly recommend you pat and press the product onto skin before applying your foundation as normal, rather than rubbing or swiping.
While CFX primers are hydrating, we don’t recommend using them in place of your daily moisturizer. Instead, apply primer to clean skin after moisturizing.

I will admit that I made a mistake. I purchased this primer as part of a bundle and neglected to read through the ingredients for each product because I had so much good luck with their products in the past. This primer contains chlorphenesin, which causes a serious inflammatory response for me. I hate to give a product a bad rating because of one ingredient, but if anyone else is sensitive or allergic to chlorphenesin, I just want to bring it to attention because it is not in most of their other products.
