As Camouflage Specialist at the Clinic, Lee experimented with many commercially available products, but was dissatisfied with the results they offered. She searched extensively for products which would meet her criteria of achieving a totally natural look. The products she wanted to offer her patients would be free of irritants and suitable for even the most sensitive, intolerant skins. They would offer her patients therapeutic benefits and environmental protection and she would be able to match each patient's skin tone with a single shade.

Finding no existing products to meet these standards, Lee created her own line and so began the development of COVER FX. In conjunction with Dr. Neil Shear, Chief of Dermatology at the Sunnybrook & Women's College Health Sciences Centre, and Chemical Engineer Jenny Frankel, Lee went on to co-create the COVER FX brand of total coverage cosmetics.

Lee continues to build on her vision of offering clients the best in cosmeceuticals - cosmetics with therapeutic benefits. As President and Founder of Cover FX Skin Care Inc., Lee develops strategies to increase brand awareness, implements educational programs for medical professionals and continues to source retail partners.

Lee designed and taught paramedical makeup courses and has spoken to makeup artistry students and various community and professional groups about the often life-changing benefits of corrective makeup, helping people cope with various skin disorders and improving the quality of their lives.

Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.

Vice-President and Co-creator

In her current role as Vice-President of Cover FX, Jenny is responsible for perpetuating the Cover FX philosophy of helping people take control of their appearance and face the world with confidence through the development of integrated marketing strategies.

Jenny oversees product research and development, quality assurance, as well as spearheads the creation and implementation of marketing, education and merchandising strategies to drive retail and online brand growth. Jenny ensures all Cover FX products and marketing initiatives support environmental sustainability and take accountability for their impact on our society.

With over fifteen years of cosmetic formulation and engineering experience, Jenny has been instrumental in developing and marketing the formulations that have brought Cover FX from vision to reality. Jenny's ongoing commitment to the research and development of Cover FX formulations will ensure the evolution of the product line in accordance with the Company's mandate to be the leading "dermatologist recommended" foundation authority in professional medical and cosmetic markets.

Prior to Cover FX, Jenny held a key product development position at M.A.C. Cosmetics, formulating many of the products responsible for that Company's success, and which are currently found in the marketplace.

Jenny is a Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto and is a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists.
